Charlie will share aerial footage and photography from The Northern Peatlands Project, a visual journey through one of Earth's rarest ecosystems. A pop-up gallery will allow attendees to see Charlie's work up close and in person.
Videography 101 for Photographers
Join photographer Charlie Reinertsen for a crash course on videography. Charlie will share his go-to film settings, as well as tips and tricks to get gorgeous footage every time. Designed for photographers interested in learning more about filmmaking, this tutorial is geared towards beginner and intermediate videographers. Charlie's work on The Northern Peatlands Project will serve as an example for the techniques, tips, and tricks this webinar will explore.

Join Expedition Leader and professional photographer Charlie Reinertsen on a photographic journey to the monarchs’ wintering grounds, and learn his tips for photographing this endangered species in the wild. He also offers advice on what camera gear to pack and presents his favorite photos from Nat Hab’s journey into the Kingdom of the Monarchs.
Gallery Exhibition – Listening to Water
“Listening to Water” follows the rivers and streams that flow from the Adirondack Mountains to their confluences with the Kaniatarowanénhne, translated from the Kanien’kéha (Mohawk) as the Great River, also known as the St. Lawrence River. Traveling through and with these waters, a group of artists, researchers, and traditional knowledge holders have collaborated to share the voices of rivers and their more-than-human guardians. Featured artists include: Katsitsionni Fox, Michale Glennon, Iakonikonriiosta, Lorna Maie Thomas, Rachael Marne Jones, Sosakete, David Kanietakeron Fadden, Curt Stager, Erika Barthelmess, Matt Burnett, Tzintzuni, Waterscape Collective, Esthela Calderón, Blake Lavia, Alejandra Altamirano Salazar, Stephany Hildebrand, Charlie Reinertsen.
